Cement

The Testing Laboratory Directorate (TLD) is accredited to perform testing of various characteristics of cement samples. Testing is performed using standardized methods. The main component, characterizing the cement’s toxicity is the content of hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), which is determined spectrophotometrically, in a water extract, obtained in accordance with the standard’s requirements.
The content of the main oxides in the composition of the cement is determined using X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF).
The characteristics loss on ignition, sulphates (such as SO3) and chlorides are determined using weight and titrimetric methods.

If the client requires it, the test reports can also be issued both in Bulgarian and in English.
